Through the lenses

It has been awhile since I last updated this blog. I guess that most of you have noticed that the drop in frequency of updates.

And who says that college is supposed to be less stressful that school?

I participated in the 1st Malaysia Debate Open with Ian and James last weekend, we got 17th place out of 72. It was a great learning experience knowing that you are on the same battlefield with the debating giants who have degrees in Economics, Philosophy and even past debate experience on the international level.

We've seen people who have once adjudicated our high school debates in action. A stunning and yet mind blowing performance. For once, you can feel that you have lots more to learn to reach such level.

Knowledge is the keystone to debating. Not knowing the facts of a particular international organisation or knowing the judiciary system in a country is not an excuse, there are lots to read up on.

Watched a video with the theme "I thirst" recently at a church gathering.
What do we thirst for? Are we as thirsty as those who are far worse off than us?

Time to study my Biology and Physics.
